Saturday morning started out with drizzle and threatening rain but that did not deter the many brave souls known as Orienteerers. This year the Yellow course was the most popular.  It was more difficult than normal, following linear features like streams instead of trails. 

The woods were fairly crowded with the JROTC championship event competitors as well as the COK meet participants sharing controls.  We had one young man from Finland who had a pretty good time on red — considering he wasn’t using a compass.
