  Orienteering on the Web

There are many O-clubs in the US and the world. The best place to start is probably the United States Orienteering Federation (USOF). It's the governing body of orienteering in America.

We are in the Southeast Region of the USOF. This region covers the seven states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. Here is a list of the local orienteering clubs in the region:
Weblinks audited and updated November 11, 2003. Thanks and a tip of the e-hat to Mike Minium for bringing errors to our attention.

[Note:  Some organizations above have the letters OC in their names. They stand for "Orienteering Club". Others have OK in their names. These letters stand for "Orienteering Klubb" or "Orienteering Klub".

Are these latter groups (our own COK among them) composed of idiots who can't spell? Perhaps. But at least they have the excuse that the K spelling is derived from the languages of Scandinavia, where our sport originated. Just so's ya know.]
